How to Tackle the Email Inbox

To reclaim the time you spend dealing with your email inbox, which equates to thousands of pounds per year per employee, this is what you need to do:

1. Firstly, identify what the email problems are within your organisation. Use our pre-built email questionnaire to determine where to begin. Contact us for more information.

2. Once the results have been analysed you can target specific areas for improvement, such:

  • Inbox management
  • Enhancing the subject line
  • Reducing the number of email interruptions
  • Targeting of your email
  • Improving the body of the email

3. There are a number of way this can be done, computer based observation, seminar training, etc.

Look at the results of this approach by <reading the research paper>.

Is there any Science behind this?
Since 1998 significant research has been carried out by Dr Jackson at Loughborough University into the use of email within the workplace and its impact on the employee and their job. The research has enabled understanding of the dimensions of effective electronic communication, so email users can enjoy and reap all of the benefits that computer-mediated communication technology provides.

This web site has been constructed to share the results of the research with you and your organisation.
